Courtship, Love & Marriage Series:

We now live in times where things are now instant, from instant coffee to a drive through meal. We no longer have the time or the patience to wait upon GOD anymore. Some believe that GOD takes too long and instead of waiting upon the lord, they rather surf the internet or do speed dating to find a life partner.

The enemy came to deceive many and many are being deceived into falls partnerships, which end up very badly. Most magistrate courts are now filled with applications of couples waiting to stand before a judge of the court to get their marriages to be nullified. Some of their reasons vary from “He’s not the man that I have met before or after she got promoted, she’s now the head of my household.” We can argue until dawn on whose fault it is, but the truth is GOD was not the foundation or there was no proper pre marital counseling.

When you’re going into a relationship or searching for a life partner, let it be with someone who has the strength of GOD backing him. You will clearly see by how they handle hardships around them, if truly they are grounded in GOD. This is the reason why having relationship with half baked Christian can never work in a marriage. A carnal Christian will always manifest his carnality i.e. there is not root in them. Math 13:5-6 mention such Christians as ones who heard the word but, the sun scorched it because it does not have much root in the word of GOD.

If you should go into a relationship with a man or woman, that each time someone hurts him/her in the church, they will stop coming to church, the day you are in bad terms with them, they will also decide to call it quits in your marriage. To have a fruitful marriage, you need a strong or a person hungry for GOD. GOD never gave birth to timid children, Joshua 1:6 was GOD command for his children: “Be strong and of good courage…”

Unless we discover our purpose in life, we have not yet lived. We just breath air and filling space. Unless we discover God and his plan for our existance, we are boung to live a life of agony and dispair. Some trust in horses, others in chariots, but I encourage you to remember the name of the lord. Remember this is not your size, the mistake of your parents or elders hardly confirms what GOD wants you to be. No king is saved by a multitude of an army or a mighty man is not delivered by great streghth. Psalm 33:16. Some kings are born out great afflictions e.g conceived through wedlock, others through rape, while others through life threatening births where the mother died giving birth.Despite the bad ordeal of entering into the world or the challenge behing their birth...time and season was on their side for them to be born. Purpose and Me Youth Seminars

                                                                                                             

Structured youth seminars in schools, youth centers and communities;

· We create a specific theme for a seminar and allow a guest speaker to give coaching concerning that theme e.g. YES YOU CAN youth seminar 2011.

· It’s an exciting day of motivation, learning, food and a movie relating to the theme.

· Our programmes are based on biblical principles and anyone can take part.

1. Courtship, love and Marriage Youth Seminar

A good wife is a gift from GOD. The bible asks who can find. For her price is far above rubies. Another passage also says the man that finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favour from GOD. Learn how to recognize the partner GOD has approved for you.

2. Purpose Makeover Youth Seminar

Your position equals to your season. Not every seed will grow in any season or not any seed will grow in any kind of a climate. But despite the conditions, GOD has purposed them to bear fruits. Learn how to be where GOD wants you to be.

3. Understanding Principles of Authority Youth Seminar

GOD has put structures of authority over us not to enslave us or put us under someone’s dictatorship, but to teach us humility, submission and obedience. Learn different areas of authority

Purpose & Me Christian Youth Outreach Programme

                                                            Introduction:

Purpose & Me Christian Youth Outreach Programme is a programme designed by Threshing Floor of Christ Ministries, Reg: 84-903 as part of their youth ministry outreach. To reach out to youth within disadvantaged areas struggling with issues of life, e.g. broken homes, abuse, drugs and alcohol, despair etc. We are not here to convert a person, that is God’s work. We just create a platform for young people to share their pain, give them hope, share the gospel with them and trust they will make a life changing choices.

Instead of being a blessing to the society, we find  that we are being distracted with various issues of life based mostly on past/present mistakes, inferiority complex, poverty, ignorance etc. hence, we have not been living up to God's expectation for our lives. We have been empowered with all it takes to be what God wants us to be, (Prov. 14:23). Beloved, you are designed and packaged for a lasting impact, arise and take charge to fulfill your purpose. Discover your potential and show forth the father's glory for this season.
You are God's beloved and He has called you His vessel. Join the gathering of the beloved today and make a lifetime impact to your world. Remember, do not follow where the path may lead, rather follow God and trust Him even if there is no sign of a path. You are designed to live and not to exist. Leave a trail behind.

                                             Mission:

·       To raise a new generation of God’s youth, not infected by HIV, Unemployment or crime in Africa.

·       Youth living in God’s victory and prosperity not in Poverty.

·       Encouraging young people to dare to dream, despite their circumstances.

·       To mobilise young people to do community outreach programmes through prayer groups at schools, visiting hospitals, helping the poor and interacting with other fellow youth organisations.

                                                             Vision: 

·       To raise a society of young people who knows and understands their essence and purpose in life.

·       To create awareness for the potential and power God has given each individual.

·       Creating interaction and joining forces with other youth organizations locally and internationally.

·       To empower, inspire and most of all to bless every young person in Africa with God’s word.

2.    Sister Gal:

·       We also strongly believe in empowering young women, it’s usually them that have to bear the grudge by staying home in case of pregnancy, by quitting school in case of parental death.

·       If you empower a girl child, you have strengthened the community.

·       We don’t just believe in handing over food parcels, but if you inspire a person; you encourage them to stand on their own.

·       Some girls are already mothers, single parents and it’s very important to create platforms for mentorship for them e.g. woman in business or ministry to encourage them.

·       If we had food parcels, we will target mostly household will a girl child.

3.    After the Seminars:

·       We had a youth Community website called iminspired.co.za where people can send their concerns or be involved themselves with the programme.

·       It’s always good to know that you can also access the materials which were discussed at the seminar to encourage yourself or give a copy of an article to someone who needs it.

·       Unfortunately due to lack of funds, the site was shut down.

4.     Our Areas of Concerns:

We greatly enjoy what we are doing and we strongly believe that is what God has called us to do. To maintain the programme through out the year, we kindly need funding or any form of assistance.

Here are some of our current needs;

    Marketing materials e.g. t-shirts (written Purpose & Me for proper identity), banners, pamphlets and website.

    Transport or Transport Allowance to move from one community to the next

    Catering e.g. food parcels during our seminars. It’s hard to concentrate on an empty stomach.

5.     Future Plans for the Programme:

    To touch as many lives as possible of young people in SA and even outside the country.

    Buy a land to build a youth Camp with proper facilities e.g. well trained youth counsellors, accommodations and activities.

    Raising a new generation of God’s Youth in South Africa, who are making an impact in their society.

6.     Be Involved:

    Remember you don’t have to leave you current ministry to be involved, you can give your time, ideas, prayers or sow your

           Seed in the outreach by helping with our current needs.

    Please pray first and ask your partner, parents or heavenly father if you can be involved.
